XTIPC Conducts Thematic Research to Boost Innovation and Service Quality
Editor: | Mar 31,2025
From March 25th to 28th, the directors of the institute, together with staff members from administrative departments conducted a series of in-depth research activities across each research division under the theme of "Demand-Driven Service Enhancement and Innovation Promotion through Collective Efforts". Focusing on problem-solving, the research aimed to accelerate technological breakthroughs and promote high-level self-reliance in science and technology by extensively collecting opinions and suggestions from frontline researchers through symposiums and discussions.
During the research symposiums, division heads, research backbones, and young scientists shared their reflections on tackling key technological challenges. While presenting profound insights into core technology breakthroughs, they also frankly pointed out common issues. Researchers expressed needs for more targeted support in major project organization, optimization of the current evaluation system with innovative classification standards tailored for different disciplines and personnel categories, and development of new "AI Plus Research" paradigms through interdisciplinary collaboration. Participants also proposed specific requirements for optimizing administrative processes, enhancing digital services, and strengthening policy interpretation.
The directors responded to each concern, emphasizing the establishment of a closed-loop mechanism of "problem collection - analysis - collaborative solution - feedback improvement". Administrative department heads acknowledged their responsibilities and committed to "itemized promotion and case-by-case resolution" to ensure effective follow-up.
Director Prof. Pan Shilie highly recognized the research outcomes. He stated that researchers' proposals fully demonstrated the team's innovative spirit and enterprising attitude, positioning this research as both a "precise diagnosis of scientific bottlenecks" and a "rallying call for innovation breakthroughs". It has laid a crucial foundation for formulating XTIPC's 15th Five-Year Plan for scientific and technological development. He urged all administrative departments to transform from passive receivers to proactive contributors, emphasizing three transitions for administrative divisions: shifting from "management-centric" to "service-oriented" thinking, from "extensive supply" to "precision policy implementation", and from "experience-driven" to "innovation-led" practices, thereby realizing the core requirement of "management empowering innovation".
Looking ahead, he encouraged researchers to not only deepen expertise in their fields but also courageously explore "uncharted territories" of interdisciplinary research, breaking technical ceilings with pioneering spirit. The entire institute should establish a synergistic mechanism where "demand side guides supply side, and service chain supports innovation chain", jointly building an open and inclusive innovation ecosystem. Based on research findings, XTIPC will systematically upgrade its scientific service system through customized service and rapid response mechanisms to stimulate innovation vitality and deliver more impactful scientific and technological achievements.
