The creation of the Chinese-Tajik Innovation Center for Natural Products is based on the Agreement on scientific cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan and the Xinjiang Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences dated on September 13, 2014, in order to strengthen scientific cooperation and its implementation in the most important areas of fundamental and applied research in the field of natural and technical sciences. The Research Institution “Chinese-Tajik Innovation Center for Natural Products” was officially established in May 22, 2018 and has functioned till present time. The main purpose of the Center is to promote the development of scientific research on the chemistry of natural compounds and the development of new phytopreparations from the plant resources of Central Asia and China. Up to now, 25 scientific papers have been published in domestic and ranking international journals. Also two doctoral and 3 master students were trained.
