Fom April 19 to 21,DONG Runsheng ,head of department of drug registration of SFDA and accompanier investigated traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine in XinJiang accompanied by Parhati·KELIMU, head of XinJiang administration bureau of traditional Chinese medicine ,and Hajiakber·AISA, deputy director of XinJiang technical institute of physics and chemistry.

　  In Urumqi and Hetian, the group visited Uyghur hospital, Uyghur medicine technical school, Uyghur pharmaceutical companies,planting base of Uyghur medicine and key lab of Plant Resources and Plant Chemistry of XinJiang technical institute of physics and chemistry.　　　　　　　　   

　  The group have attended the meeting named XinJiang native TCM and ethnic medicine symposium. In the meeting, Hajiakber·AISA reported on the research situation about the project of XinJiang native TCM and ethnic medicine Hospital preparations were promoted to Product with code number approved by SFDA .DONG spoke highly of the project and gave some suggestions to the development of Uyghur medicine. He said that Uyghur medicine must keep characteristics and therapeutical effect. Meanwhile, the Uyghur medicine need to be perfected clinical evaluation system and completed the foundational work, especially the research of quality standard for local medicine plants.

　  XinJiang health bureau department chief Maimaiti·YASENG, Deputy Director -General of XinJiang Food and Drug Administration LI Weidong, XinJiang administration bureau of traditional Chinese medicine,deputy director of the PANG Aimin, and about 40 researchers attended this meeting .
