The international seminar “The problems and solutions in modern natural products research” which was hosted by Phytochemistry Institute, Uzbekistan Academy of Science took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan and more than 200 scholars and scientific research people from China, German, America, Japan and Russia have been attending the meeting.

　　Doctor Abulimiti Yili as the deputy direction-general of Key Laboratory of Plant Resource Chemistry in Arid Zone has presented the inviting report “Design, synthesis of rupestonic acid derivatives and anti-influenza, restraining herpes simplex virus activities” which caused huge interests of scholars present and expresses the nonneglectable influence of XJIPC in natural products research in Centre Asia.
