Fine Chemical Engineering Technical Research Centre is located at Peking University Science Park in Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone (National Level High-Tech Industrial Districts) and was authorized formally by Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People’s Government as a provincial fine chemical engineering technical research centre in March, 2002. In September the same year, it was entitled as the only one in such domain enterprise post-doctoral workstations in Xinjiang by National Personnel Authority and co-founded to become a chemical engineering high-tech research base by Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone and Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry (Academy of Sciences, People's Republic of China). As an incubator for innovative and high technologies and pilot test base on chemistry and chemical engineering, it is an honor to provide technology service for scientific research institutions and enterprises.
The research centre is going in for developing innovative and high technologies and industrialization, which pays its attention to the industry and products manufactured in oil and gas, coal chemical industry in Xinjiang and takes efforts in prolonging industry chain and exploiting new products in fine chemical domain, tries to enhance plus value of the products, carries on relative specialty chemical exploring such as sewage disposal, equipments protecting and antisepsis, resources maximum use and so on. It gives itself incentives to support technology service platform for development in economy and improvement in innovative and high technologies in Xinjiang, to cooperate with enterprises for technological transformation, technological upgrading, technological integration, technological import, technological digest, technological development, technological consultation and personnel training.
The research centre possesses excellent basic conditions for pilot plant test and “technology incubation” which covers a vast area of 4500 square meters. It can undertake and accomplish the pilot process as follows: atmosphere and reduced pressure reaction technology, thin film evaporation and separation technology, molecular distillation and separation technology, chromatography separation technology, centrifugation technology and extraction of natural products technology etc. |
