The first foreign doctoral student in XJIPC

Ulugbek Timerbaevich Karimov has been formally accepted by XJIPC as a doctoral student, becoming the first student abroad here.
Ulugbek was a researcher in Institute of Plant Resources and Natural Products Chemistry of Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences. He has been engaged in steroid alkaloids of medicinal plants especially Solanaceae plants for about 4years, having good professional foundation. He will mainly develop the alkaloid compounds separating and analysis of Xinjiang unique plants.
Accepting and cultivating the student abroad in Uzbekistan is an important event, which shows the close cooperation and exchanges between XJIPC and institutes in Central Asia nations.
