Prof. Zhou Yichun from Xiangtan University paid a visit to XTIPC from August 13 to 16. During his visit, Prof. Zhou gave a lecture entitled Ferroelectric Films Memory and Its Failure. In the lecture, Prof. Zhou mainly introduced the preparation of ferroelectric thin films by PLD and MOD, characterization and mechanism of residual stresses in the films, the analysis of the properties of ferroelectric films and the development of ferroelectric memory and its failure, etc. After that, he discussed the topic with related researchers and postgraduates of XTIPC.

In the company of Guo Qi, vice director of Material Physics and Chemistry Research Center, Prof. Zhou visited Opto-electronic functional materials and components laboratory, Large-scale integrated circuit testing laboratory, Semiconductor device parameters testing laboratory, Laser molecular beam epitaxial growth of films laboratory, etc. Prof. Zhou discussed with the present researchers for the preparation of ferroelectric thin films and the late stage function test, radiation reinforce and process improvement of XTIPC.

Cui Wangcheng, the vice president of XTIPC met Zhou Yichun and his group, the both discussed the possibilities for cooperation in detail, and they will establish long-term cooperation mechanism on research projects and research staff exchange.
