On April 29, the Xinjiang Scientific and Technological Innovation Conference and the Xinjiang Science and Technology Awards Ceremony was held at Urumqi, to award teams and individuals who have made remarkable scientific and technological contributions. Three first-class awards were granted to the Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry (XTIPC).

　　"Design and performance study of new deep ultraviolet nonlinear optical materials based on fluorinated B-O units" completed by Prof. PAN Shilie’s group has won the first prize of the 2021 Xinjiang Natural Science Awards. “Construction of Standard System and Demonstration of Industrialization of Key Technologies of Ethno-medicine”, completed by Prof. Ajiaikebaier Aisa’s group, has won the first prize of the 2021 Xinjiang Scientific and Technological Progress Awards. Another first prize of the 2021 Xinjiang Scientific and Technological Progress Awards is granted to a special project completed by the XTIPC.
