10 Researchers Selected for the World's Top 2% Scientists List 2025

Recently, Stanford University and the Elsevier database released the "World’s Top 2% Scientists 2025" list. 10 researchers from the XTIPC were included in the "Single-year Impact" of the list, which focuses on academic achievements in the current year. Among them, Prof. Pan Shilie and Prof. Ma Pengcheng are also listed in the " Career-long Impact" list which highlights the impact throughout their entire academic careers.

The "World’s Top 2% Scientists" list is regarded as an objective indicator for measuring scientists' long-term research performance and academic influence. Being selected signifies that the scholar holds significant global influence in their research field. The list selected the world's top 2% scientists from nearly 7 million globally, covering 22 fields and 174 subfields, based on comprehensive parameters.

The disciplines of the selected researchers from the XTIPC span various fields, including inorganic and nuclear chemistry, pharmaceutical and biomolecular chemistry, materials science, optoelectronics and photonics, energy and environment, artificial intelligence and image processing, and applied physics. This indicates that our institute's researchers have achieved considerable international influence in these areas. This recognition not only fully affirms the individual research capabilities of the listed scientists but also validates the institute's research efforts and high-level talent development. It plays a positive role in further advancing the institute's research endeavors and expanding its global influence.
