Two Researchers from XTIPC Listed on the "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" for Six Consecutive Years

On January 30, 2026, Elsevier officially released the 2025 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list. Professor Shilie Pan, Director of the Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, and Professor Zhihua Yang have once again been included on the list, marking their sixth consecutive year of selection.

Professor Shilie Pan, in the field of Materials Science and Engineering, has long been engaged in research on inorganic optoelectronic functional crystal materials. He has achieved a series of innovative research results in areas of novel UV and DUV nonlinear optical materials and birefringent materials. These achievements not only enrich the theoretical knowledge in related fields but also provide solid technical support for practical applications, driving innovation in materials science within the optoelectronic domain.
Professor Zhihua Yang, in the field of Electronic Science and Technology, mainly focuses on the design, high-throughput prediction and screening, and preparation of optoelectronic functional crystal materials. Committed to addressing key scientific issues such as new material design and performance enhancement mechanisms, she has made innovative achievements in nonlinear optical response mechanisms and the design of novel deep-ultraviolet nonlinear optical materials.
A total of 6,310 scholars from 543 institutions made it onto this year's list, covering 10 academic disciplines and 83 first-level disciplines. Among them, the Chinese Academy of Sciences boasts the largest number of highly cited scholars, with a total of 513.
This list is based on Elsevier's global authoritative citation and indexing database, Scopus, and adopts the methodology developed by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy. Elsevier provides data support and technical implementation for the list. By using multiple indicators, the list systematically presents the scientific research contributions and innovative values of Chinese scholars in their respective academic fields.
