Yun YANG, born in July 1982, researcher, phd. She received her bachelor's degree from School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Xinjiang University in July 2004 and master's degree from School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Xinjiang University in July 2007. She joined the Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physical and Chemical of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in July 2007, studied for a phd in the Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physical and Chemical in July 2008, graduated in July 2011, and was appointed as an associate researcher in 2011 and a researcher in 2018. At present, she is mainly engaged in the design, synthesis and crystal growth research of photoelectric functional materials. 76 articles were published, including Sci. Bull., Chem. Mater., Sci. China Chem, and other international famous journals. The current research focuses on the controlled design, synthesis and growth of UV nonlinear optics.

Main Research Areas and Achievements:
Yun YANG is currently engaged in the design, synthesis and growth of optoelectronic functional materials. She presided a number of funds of the State, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Autonomous Region and other levels, and has applied two international invention patents and 22 Chinese invention patents were authorized. She won the Xinjiang Youth Science and Technology Award (2021), the Xinjiang Uygur Natural Science Award First Prize (2020), Xinjiang Science and Technology Progress First Prize (2012 and 2014), Xinjiang "Outstanding Youth" (2020), and so on.
