Xinyu TANG received the Doctor of Philosophy in Information Technology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and accepted Associate Research professorship at the Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

He is mainly engaged in the investigation related to the application of information technology. He is the main R&D personnel in a number of national and autonomous projects, including the 863 Program project – "The Modernization Management in logistics industry", the West Light Foundation project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences named "the Research on Uyghur phonetic keyword retrieval technology", the self service project of Electronic Information Industry Development Fund named "The software development and industrialization in Uyghur, Kazakh and Kirgiz". As the main R&D personnel, many projects have won the scientific and technological progress award of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, including the First prize (three times), the Second prize (two times) and the Third prize.
