Resume

 Jun Li obtained the bachelor degree from the Department of Chemistry of Beijing Normal University in 1997 and the PhD degree from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2013. During the June of 2013 to the August of 2014, she performed her postdoctoral research at Institute of Organic Chemistry of University of Würzburg. Since November of 2014, she joined in the XinjiangTechnical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Main research areas and achievements: 

Dr. Jun Li's research interests focus on the separation, structure identification, biological activity of natural products from traditional Chinese medicines and ethnic medicines. She has published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers in journals including Oganic Letters, Journal of Natural Products, and Phytochemistry. 

Honors and awards 

She was awarded the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Chinese Academy of Sciences, President Excellence Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Outstanding Youth Science and Technology Award of Chemical Society of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. In 2021, she achieved the First prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region ranking the sixth.
