Shuping Li, female, PhD, graduated from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2018, is an Associate Research Fellow at the Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics & Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. A member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of Chinese Academy of Sciences, a member of the Xinjiang Physiological Science Society, a member of the First Committee of the Youth Federation of High-tech Zone (New Urban Area), Urumqi, Xinjiang, and a member of the First Committee of the Science and Technology Association of High-tech Zone (New Urban Area), Urumqi, Xinjiang.
Main research areas and achievements:
She is engaged in the research of quality standards of traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine, new drug research and development, and drug registration.
She has successively obtained 5 clinical approvals for new drugs, including the clinical approval CXZL1900019 for the Class 1 new traditional Chinese medicine "Naizilai Granules" (Phase III clinical trial), the clinical approval 2021LP01651 for the Class 1 new traditional Chinese medicine "Aila Tablets" (Phase II clinical trial), the clinical approval 2024LP00143 for the Class 1 new traditional Chinese medicine "Shabiya Tablets" (Phase II clinical trial), the clinical approval 2024LP01426 for the Class 1 new traditional Chinese medicine "Siyadan Gel", and the clinical approval 2025LP03259 for the Class 1 new traditional Chinese medicine "Mamuranqini Ointment". In addition, 2 more new drugs are in the pre-clinical research stage.
In terms of international scientific and technological cooperation oriented to the "Belt and Road" and overseas transformation of new drug achievements, the Naizilai Granules she participated in the research and development obtained the first clinical approval for innovative traditional Chinese medicine in Uzbekistan, and the registration and clinical research of innovative traditional Chinese medicines such as Aila Tablets and Shabiya Tablets are steadily advancing. The research results provide sufficient scientific basis for promoting the modernization, industrialization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine.
She has applied for 3 invention patents, 2 of which have been authorized, published more than 20 academic papers, and assisted in training 4 doctoral students and 5 master students.
