The International Symposium on Edible & Medicinal Plant Resources and Bioactive Ingredients (ISEPR) is a biennial academic forum initiated by the Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (XTIPC, CAS), with strong institutional support from CAS. ISEPR brings together scientists, researchers, industry professionals and policymakers from around the world to exchange cutting-edge research, foster collaboration, and promote sustainable development in the field of edible and medicinal plants.

The Organizing Committee of the 9^th Edible & Medicinal Plant Resources and Bioactive Ingredients has decided to hold the Symposium in Kashgar, Xinjiang, from May 8 to 10, 2026. The committee hopes this event will serve as an opportunity to significantly advance the development of edible and medicinal plant resources in central and western China, deepen industry–academia–research collaboration between China and all over the world, especially countries in Central and West Asia, and contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative and the growth of the global health industry.

The ISEPR 2026 will be held from 8 to 10 May 2026 in Kashgar, China, co-organized by XTIPC, CAS, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Kashgar University. Building on the success of previous symposia, ISEPR 2026 aims to strengthen scientific cooperation along the Belt and Road Initiative and advance the global health and green economy through innovation in plant-based resources.

Registration

Each participant is required to complete and submit one copy of the Registration Form to the Symposium Organizing Committee by March 31, 2026.

The registration fee includes the Conference Proceedings and a banquet dinner. Participants are responsible for covering their own travel and accommodation expenses. Please complete your registration and make your travel arrangements at your earliest convenience.
